Made from a totally insulated construction process, many of our hot tubs and swim spas are manufactured with multiple layers of high density, closed-cell polyurethane foam of a water repellent nature to preserve their insulation value.
And furthermore, we also offer exclusive insulated cover components, whereby our hot tub covers are created for a customised fit. Featuring child-resistant safety locks, and classified to the highest safety standard, these covers ensure the ‘locking-in’ of heat via 1.5 or 2 lb. foam insulation.
Maintaining Heat in your Hot Tub
Using innovative revolutionary technology, the energy saving features of our hot tubs and swim spas maintain the water at your desired temperature, so potentially expensive heating, cooling and filtration costs are negated. Aquasun components’ exclusive possession of Energy Smart features sets them apart as super energy efficient. With members of our Limelight and Highlife range sporting the SilentFlo 5000 circulation pump, and others featuring FiberCor insulation properties, these commodities can be insulated to a density up to four times greater than the typical amount of 8kg/m³ foam.
Energy Efficient Technology
The Highlife Collection spas use advanced Energy Smart features that make them super energy efficient. Using multiple layers of high density polyurethane foam to insulate every Highlife Collection model ensures heating costs and requirements are kept to a minimum. Additionally, the Limelight Collection features Fibercor insulation which fully insulates the spa cabinet to a density 4x greater than typical 8kg/m3 foam. All spa covers feature a high-insulation, dense foam core and are manufactured to ensure a custom fit and a tight seal to lock in warm air and minimise heat loss. All our hot tubs feature dimmer-controlled LED lights and our own specially-designed heaters to maximise energy efficiency.
The SilentFlo 5000 circulation pump ensures that the Highlife and Limelight Collection spas quietly and continuously circulate water – all while using less energy than a 40-watt light bulb. The powerful WaveMaster™ jet pumps are only activated when you need them, and the SmartJet™ system lets you direct power only to the jets you need, using less horsepower and energy.
